Interparonimy lub ekwiwalenty pozorne (potocznie także słowa zwodnicze, słowa zdradliwe, słowa-pułapki) to wyrazy dwóch różnych języków, podobne do siebie w piśmie lub mowie, ale mające całkiem inne znaczenie. Mogą być przyczyną omyłek w tłumaczeniu czy zrozumieniu tekstu w języku obcym. Żartobliwie określa się je nazwą fałszywi przyjaciele (ang. false friends). Warto pamiętać, że to określenie nie jest poważne, nie należy do terminologii naukowej i nie powinno być stosowane w profesjonalnych opracowaniach.

W poniższej tabeli zebrano różne pary francuskich i polskich oraz francuskich i angielskich wyrazów, które skłonni jesteśmy utożsamić mimo ich różnego znaczenia. W tabeli umieszczono także interparonimy częściowe, które niekiedy sobie odpowiadają znaczeniowo, a innym razem muszą być tłumaczone w odmienny sposób.

Les interparonymes ou équivalents apparents (familièrement aussi mots trompeurs, mots perfides, mots pièges) sont des mots de deux langues différentes qui sont similaires à l'écrit ou à l'oral mais ont des significations complètement différentes. Ils peuvent entraîner des erreurs de traduction ou de compréhension d’un texte dans une langue étrangère. On les appelle en plaisantant de faux amis. Il convient de rappeler que ce terme n’est pas sérieux, n’appartient pas à la terminologie scientifique et ne doit pas être utilisé dans les études professionnelles.

Le tableau ci-dessous rassemblent différentes paires de mots français et polonais et aussi français et anglais que nous avons tendance à identifier les uns aux autres malgré leurs significations différentes. Le tableau comprend également des interparonymes partiels, qui correspondent parfois sémantiquement, mais qui doivent parfois être traduits différemment.

Interparonyms or surface equivalents (apparent equivalents, colloquially also deceptive words, treacherous words, trap words) are words of two different languages which are similar in writing or pronunciation, but have quite different meanings. They can be a reason for errors in translation or understanding of a text in a foreign language. They are termed humorously false friends. It is worth remembering, however, that this term is not serious, does not belong to scientific terminology, and should not be used in professional studies.

In the chart below you can find pairs of French and Polish as well as French and English words which can be identified with each other despite their different meanings. The chart also includes partial interparonyms, that is words which sometimes correspond to each other in meaning, and sometimes have to be translated in a different way.
